Hong kong reports 81 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the total to 10,009.

HONG KONG, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's tally of COVID-19 infections surpassed 10,000 on Saturday amid the fourth wave of the epidemic outbreak.

Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection reported 81 additional confirmed cases of the virus, taking the total to 10,009. Of the new cases, 78 were locally transmitted, including 35 of unknown origin.
